Document Description
Foothill Boulevard is an east/west directional arterial roadway in the City of Upland. The existing asphalt pavement, concrete infrastructure (i.e. sidewalks, curbs & gutter, curb ramps), are in poor condition necessitating repair. The project involves removal and replacement of the asphalt concrete pavement; removal and replacement of displaced sidewalks, curbs and gutters, cross gutters, and ADA curb ramps; adjustment of utility manholes to finish grade; installation of new water pipeline segments, fire hydrants, and service laterals; installation of raised median island segments for increased traffic safety, removal and replacement of sub-standard storm drain catch basins, and re-striping. Beneficiaries of the project will include all residents and property owners along Foothill Boulevard as well as any member of the public that may travel on the public roadway.
