Document Description
Caltrans proposes to clean up and repair the slope where a large slip out occurred due to the recent rain events. The slip out was approximately 106 feet long by 30 feet deep by 82 feet wide and blocked 2 lanes of traffic on southbound US-101. Debris from the slide has been cleared from the roadway and temporary k-rails have been placed to prevent further debris from blocking the traveled way until the slope repair is complete. Some trees will need to be removed for cleanup of debris and loose rock and repair of the slope. All work will take place within Caltrans right of way.
