Document Description
The project consists of removing live, dead, dying and diseased trees, and reducing conifer densities by hand for fuel reduction and forest health purposes. The project area consists of 327 California Tahoe Conservancy (Conservancy) and 73 US Forest Service owned vacant urban parcels totaling approximately 133 acres (104 acres Conservancy, 29 acres Forest Service). The activity results will promote increased health and vigor of the stand, and reduce fire threat to the adjacent community
