This will be accomplished by installing a fish barrier at the confluence of Rough Creek and the Walker River, up to three years of electrofishing the entire Rough Creek watershed to remove non-native trout, and then reintroduction of the native fish assemblage (Walker-strain Lahontan Cutthroat Trout, Paiute Sculpin, Lahontan Redside Shiner, Lahontan Speckled Dace, Mountain Whitefish, Tahoe Sucker, and Mountain Sucker). The Rough Creek watershed is located in Mono County. [Proposition 1, Water Code Section 79733]. WCB Project Tracker ID 2023232.
