Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt from CEQA because Section 15302 of the CEQA Guidelines exempts existing facilities. The project is a minor alteration of an existing public facility involving negligible expansion of use at the time of lead agency's determination and is not within an environmentally sensitive area. The project is consistent with applicable General Plan land use designations and Zoning regulations. The project site is within City limits, will not change in size, located within an existing neighborhood park(s) and is adequately serviced by utilities and public services.
