The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will issue an encroachment permit to allow the applicant, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) to access Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) to maintain existing lines and install a new 50-foot utility pole, transformer, and service line on State Route 41 between post miles R45.82 and R45.77 in Kings County. Caltrans will issue an encroachment permit (06-23-6-UF-0488) for the utility pole replacement work within State right-of-way.

The existing utility will be extended to provide service to nearby infrastructure
