Document Description
This approximately 6.16-acre project will remove approximately 2,100' of dilapidated barbed wire fence that is situated right on the bank of the Susan River. This fence is much too close to the water to allow management of the riparian area, and it is a hazard and/or a barrier to wildlife in the riparian corridor of the Susan River. That fence will be replaced by a wildlife-friendly, high tensile electric fence, which will
be situated much farther from the water, allowing for the addition of approximately 9.9 acres to be managed as a riparian area. (WCB Project Tracker ID: 2022065).
