The reroute will encompass approximately 450-feet of trail between the established trailhead in the parking lot on Mirada Road and the intersection with an existing coastal trail south of slide area. Work will mow 2-feet of vegetation on both sides of the existing foot path and install a 5-feet wide hardened class 2 base rock on the trailhead reroute. The new and widened alignment will be crowned and compacted to provide a smooth hardened surface.
