Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will issue an encroachment permit to allow the applicant, Southern California Edison (SCE) to access Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) and replace an existing utility pole on State Route 168 between post miles 44.67 and 44.367 south of the community of Ockenden. The utility pole (4322619E) is located on the westerly side of westbound State Route 168 in Fresno County at Post Mile (PM) 44.67. This location is between State Route 168 intersection with Bretz Mill Rd, PM 44.35 and Musick Dr, PM 44.78. Within the State right-of-way, the project proposes to replace an existing 40-foot Class 4 composite pole with a new 55-foot Class 3 wood pole. Outside the State right-of-way, the project proposes to replace an existing guy-anchor and a down guy wire. Caltrans will issue an encroachment permit (06-24-6-US-1391) for the work within State right-of-way.
