Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Section 15301 (b) and (d) and Section 15302 (c)
Reasons for Exemption
The project is exempt from CEQA per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 and 15302 because the project consists of the continuation of the soffit spall repair and rehabilitation at the existing Bradbury Drain within ROW. The rehabilitation is considered maintenance work on an existing facility and the project does not result in a change or expansion of use of the drain. Additionally, the project is not located in a sensitive environment and there are no cumulative impacts, unusual circumstances, damage to scenic highways, listing on hazardous waste sites pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5, or indications that the project may cause a substantial adverse change in the significance of a historical resource that would make the exemption inapplicable based on the record of the proposed activities.
