Document Description
The Housing Element Update is required to identify and analyze existing and projected housing needs in order to preserve, improve and develop housing for all economic segments of the community, including a fair housing analysis. In addition to prohibiting discrimination based on race, color, religion, disability, and other protected personal and familial attributes, the city is required to affirmatively further fair housing. The City’s Housing Element is the primary policy document implementing the housing policies and affirmatively further fair housing for all economic segments of the community.

The 2024 Safety Element update can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that it will have a significant effect on the environment, The 2024 Safety Element establishes policies to reduce natural hazards that may occur within the City. The 2024 Safety Element update programs and policies are city wide. No scenic highway or resources; no hazardous waste site which is included on any list compiled pursuant to Section 65962.5 of the Government Code; no physical development; no structures are to be demolished due to the adoption of the Safety Element; nor would the adoption of the Safety Element have a significant adverse impact on a historic resource.
