Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SJN-48090-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR). The Project includes up to 62 geotechnical soil borings and 12 cone penetration tests within five investigation locations on Old River, Grant Line-Fabian Bell Canal, and Middle River. Information gathered from this effort will be used to support the development of a future construction project.

Reasons for Exemption
Class 4 because the project is a minor alteration to Old River, Middle River and Grant Line Canal and does not involve the removal of healthy, mature, or scenic trees. Class 6 because the Project consists of basic data collection, re-search, experimental management and resource evaluation activities which do not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource.
