Document Description
To remove and replace the Empire Tract Landing Ramp located along the right (east) bank of the San Joaquin River. The work activities will consist of; demolition of the existing landing ramp, treated wood decking and support pilings; and construct a new hybrid steel/wood landing ramp decking on new steel H-piles, and new concrete approach apron. This is also a "name change" permit that includes conditions that are consistent with current flood control standards and policies of the Central Valley Flood Protection Board. This permit supplements Permit No. 17418 that was issued to San Joaquin County, Department of Public Works on 3/19/2002 to repair the existing ferry ramp which includes reconstruction of the #3 Span's superstructure, replacement of the cap on Bent No. 4 and rehabilitation of the Bent No. 2 on the right (northeast) bank levee of Stockton Deep Water Channel in the Empire Tract.
