Document Description
This project involves replacement of non-functioning pool equipment, repairs and maintenance to the existing equipment building at Myrtle Webber Pool at Jane Reynolds Park. The scope of work includes replacing pool equipment housed inside building (pumps, boiler, & filtration system), upgrading electrical wiring, replacing damaged roof, replacing vandalized internal and external doors, repair and repainting internal handrails and walls, and repairs to damaged flooring and lighting from vandalism. No excavation is anticipated. All construction will occur within the existing Jane Reynolds Park and the Myrtle Webber Pool equipment building.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project involves repair and maintenance of an existing facility to restore use of the pool. The use of building will not change and there will be no additions or alterations to the layout of the building. The project site is not located in an environmentally sensitive area, and there are no exceptions that exist such as cumulative impacts, scenic highways, hazardous materials sites, etc., which would prevent the use of the exemption. All prevailing utilities are current to serve existing building including the proposed upgrades.
