Document Description
Lower Bellows tank is a 2.5-million-gallon storage tank which was constructed in 2008. A long-term solution to address water quality challenges would involve constructing of a residual management system (RMS) with onsite hypochlorite generation at this location. The RMS will consist of a prefabricated structure, constructed onsite, which will house a DeNora ChlorTec Onsite Sodium Hypochlorite generation system, chemical storage of liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS), pumps, and analytical equipment. Electrical and SCADA improvements are also included with this project. The RMS will be constructed at an existing facility and will not require any additional construction outside of the facility property boundary.
