Document Description
The South Sewer Station is located on the corner of Park and Stone Boulevard near the port of Sacramento. It receives most of its sewage through Commercial flow. The South Pump Station was last upgraded/remodeled 2008. A large amount of sewage flowing into the South Pump Station is causing the long established and already modified pumps/propellers to be overworked and strained. The existing South Pump Station does not reside on City Property. As a result, the selected design consultant will conduct all work related to acquiring a permanent easement and/or to the acquisition of the land containing the South Pump Station. The City envisions a rehabilitated pump station to improve resiliency, efficiency, and maintenance.
