Document Description
For Site 1, the Discharger proposes to install an Arizona crossing with low flow pipe culverts. The purpose of this design is to allow for low flows (1 year storm events or less) to flow through two 48-inch low flow pipe culverts, while storm events larger than one year would flow over the Arizona crossing. The width of the crossing is designed to accommodate the width of a 100-year flood event.
For Site 2, a concrete-lined Arizona crossing is proposed to replace the existing dirt access road. This drainage is an ephemeral drainage and therefore no culverts are proposed at this location. Site 2 is being designed to allow for all storm events to flow over the Arizona crossing.
