Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a Small Indoor commercial cannabis license submitted on September 11, 2018, by Cub City, LLC. The Project will consist of 10,000 square feet of cannabis cultivation, including both mature canopy and immature/nursery cultivation. Additional approved and continuing operations include processing, and packaging. Indoor cultivation and processing operations may occur 24 hours per day, as needed, though generally will occur between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Deliveries are limited to the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. The current approved employee number of 22 will remain unchanged. The modification does not involve any new construction. The parcel is located within an existing 19,590-squarefoot commercial building on a 1.02-acre Heavy Industrial parcel.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 1 Categorical Exemption project. Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
