PCWA owns and operates the Weimar Water Treatment Plant. This property and 5.5 acres of surrounding land has been identified as a site in need of vegetation management in order to reduce the risk of wildfire. Activities related to the management of vegetation are for the purposes of fuel reduction, these include vegetation thinning, hazard tree removal, site preparation that involves disturbance of soil, or cutting or removal of trees and vegetation. These vegetation management activities do not include riparian or aquatic vegetation management.
