Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code, Section 26012, approved a commercial cannabis Cultivation license submitted on 3/26/2021, a cannabis Distributor license submitted on 3/29/2022, and a cannabis Manufacturing license submitted on 6/2/2021 by Regal Green Remedies.The Project will consist of cannabis cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing operations at 7875 Mendiburu Road, California City, CA, 93505 (APN 302-274-31-00-8). Cultivation will occur inside a 23,000 sq. ft. mixed-light greenhouse. Distribution and Manufacturing activities will occur within an 8,400 sq. ft. warehouse. Prior to development the project area had been disturbed due to offroad vehicle use. Given the flat, disturbed nature of the project site only minor grading would be necessary to implement the project and little vegetation would be disturbed. There are no water features present on the project site.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 4 Categorical Exemption Project. Class 4 consists of minor public or private alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry or agricultural purposes. None of the exceptions to the exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply to the Project.
