Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Cannabis Retail License submitted on 12/8/2017 by Elizabeth Tabor. The Project will consist of a cannabis retail store located at 408 South Mount Shasta Blvd, Mount Shasta, CA 96067. The APN is 057-392-090-000. It will operate out of an existing 3049 SF building and will occupy 2400 SF for cannabis activities. The lot area is approximately 8375 SF. Hours of operations are 9am-7pm during the winter and 10am-8pm during the summer. There are no other cannabis activities on site. The zoning designation is C-2, general designation.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 32 Categorical Exemption Project. Class 32 Categorical Exemptions consist of the environmentally benign infill projects that are consistent with the General Plan and Zoning requirements. This class is not intended for projects that would result in any significant traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality impacts. This exemption is not limited to any use type and may apply to residential, commercial, industrial, public facility, and/or mixed-use projects. None of the exceptions to the exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply to the Project.
