Document Description
Allow Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) to place a boulder with a 24-in.x 24-in. bronze historical marker next to the Visitor Center located in Bidwell Mansion State Historic Park to provide additional interpretive information to park visitors. The boulder measures 43-in. x 36-in. x 38-in. and will be placed in an open area adjacent to the Visitor Center sidewalk, just south of an existing flagpole. Installation will require only minor soil disturbance and leveling because this area is already flat due to prior landscaping. If needed, landscaping plants may be refreshed at the marker location per the Bidwell Mansion's Historic Landscape Plan.
