Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is the Lead Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the Project. The Project includes the construction of a new production well and well house, approximately 24,000-gallon water storage tank, 18,000-gallon retention basin, approximately 1,200 feet of transmission water pipeline, approximately 500 feet of chain-link fence, appurtenances, and booster station to address arsenic levels in the existing well and reduce arsenic levels below state and federal thresholds. The new well will have a minimum flow rate of 30 gallons per minute. The existing well may remain in stand-by status as a secondary water source. With both wells in operation, water could be blended into a storage tank to achieve an adequate reduction in arsenic levels that would be under state thresholds.
