Document Description
The goals for the site are to create habitat connectivity along the western and eastern sides of the property that connect the northern riparian zone to the larger trees and other habitat along the south of the property. This zone will include a native hedgerow, native pollinator planting, milkweed planting, oak planting, and invasive plant removal. This planting will provide structure, food resources, and cover to pollinators, birds, invertebrates and mammal species. Other components of the plan are to install bird nesting boxes, bee boxes, and a kestrel box. Total project area is approximately 2.04 acres. (WCB Project Tracker ID: 2022065).
