Document Description
The project will involve the removal and re-construction of approximately 37 curb access ramps at certain locations throughout the City. The ramps replacement will generally occur in an area surrounded by Del Amo Blvd to the north, Woodruff Blvd to the east, Arbor Rd to the south, and Bellflower Blvd to the west. The new ramps will be constructed in accordance with the pertinent provisions of the Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (Greenbook) and in compliance with the latest Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines. A formal bid process in accordance with Public Contract Code will be followed. The actual number of ramps to be replaced may increase or decrease depending on the bid results.
