The existing sign will be raised 5'-0" for a total height of 19'-6". The height increase would maintain visibility of the sign along Spring Street, after the completion of a separate Los Angeles County Sanitation District project that would install new Southern California Edison (SCE) equipment (transformer and electrical panel). No changes to the sign's design are proposed.
