The park will construct new shaded play and seating areas, a multi-modal pathway, accessible playground, heat reducing surfaces, interactive displays, and a variety of new landscaping on a disturbed and undeveloped segment of land within the Cliff Hatfield Memorial Airport. The project will be part of the City of Calipatria "Community Park" Project which will further provide amenities such as a splash pad and a brand new community center.
