Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a life cycle reset of four (4) traffic signal systems with one on SR-76 at PM R6.77, two on SR-78 at PM 7.95/18.938 and 19.87, and one on SR-94 at PM 19.78. This project includes replacing the cables, controller cabinet, video detection camera, and accessible pedestrian signal heads at all four locations. The traffic signal controller cabinets’ concrete foundation and pad will be modified with minimal soil disturbance. Additionally, an intersection camera with performance measure will be installed at the sites. The traffic signal system is deemed necessary to be replaced to reset its life cycle to comply with SB-1 mandate as the current components are failure prone and at its end-of-life.
