Document Description
This project proposes to conduct maintenance activities at various points on State Routes 57, 73, and 261 in the cities of Brea, Irvine, Laguna Hills, and Orange. The purpose of the project is to replace a Changeable Message Sign (CMS) on Route 57 and replace loops and install piezoelectric axle sensors at existing census stations on Routes 73 and 261. The project is needed to extend the productive life and improve traffic census activities on the listed State Routes. The project is state funded only with HM-4 funds. There is no disturbed soil associated with the project, and all work will occur within Caltrans ROW.
