Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Mojave River Hatchery provides State Owned Housing to staff, as a condition of employment, in order to care for live fish 24 hours per day. Results from recent contracted inspections have indicated the need for numerous required repairs. As such, a contract is being established to perform rehabilitation of state owned housing units R6-59, R6-60, R6-62, R6-71, R6-72, R6-108, R6-61 garage and repair of a walk-in freezer. Repairs will include stucco removal and replacement with cement board siding, roof removal and replacement, window removal and replacements, flooring removal and replacements, HVAC units removal and replacements and other miscellaneous repairs. R6-61 Garage will have stucco removal and replacement with cement board siding. A Walk-In Freezer located in an existing hatchery warehouse building will be replaced with a new unit. This project will consist of repairing existing structures with no new construction planned and will not create any additional square footage to any buildings on the property.
