Document Description
This project will dig a trench and install a shed and equipment within Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area to allow SMUD to complete a power drop. Work will use heavy equipment and hand tools to complete the following work:
• Install conduit on a power pole and run it to a 24-inch by 36-inch traffic rated pull box installed flush with the existing ground;
• Dig a 2-foot wide by 51 foot long by 4-foot-deep trench to run the conduit to the other side of the park road;
• Fill the trench with sand 4 inch below and 12 inch above the conduit, then backfill and compact to grade with native material;
• Seal the trench through the park road with asphalt;
• Install an 8-foot wide by 10-foot-long by 6-inch-thick concrete pad for a shed;
• Dig a 2-foot-wide by 3-foot-long by 4-foot-deep trench for conduit for electrical and communication future uses; and
• Install construction fence around the shed and trench.
