Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-SBR-50657-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the California Department of Transportation District 8. The project is limited to the installation of rock slope protection at the west end of the SR-38 Santa Ana River Bridge (Bridge Number 54-0407). Project activities are limited to the removal of vegetation at the west end of the SR-38 Santa Ana River Bridge, the option to install a temporary stream crossing across the Santa Ana River (if the access road is not used) that will include a culvert that will match the stream’s width upon installation and will function as a water diversion, excavation of the channel (9-foot depth) and side slope (6-foot depth), and installation of approximately 4,520 square feet of un-grouted rock slope protection.
