Document Description
The project involves an Easement Vacation to vacate public utilities, sewer and water easements located on the existing Chesterton Elementary School. The site is 1.07 acres and Is zoned for Multiple Unit Residential (RM-1-1) In the Linda Vista Community Plan Area. The easements were found to be remnants of previous street and alley closures, prior to the construction of the original school and subsequent renovations. They were vetted on-site and were found to be free and clear of existing utilities.

This exemption allows for minor alterations In land use limitations In areas with an average slope of less than 20%, which does not result In any changes In land use or density. This project is consistent with these requirements, and the exceptions listed in Section 15300.2 do not apply. The site is not included on any list compiled pursuant to Government Code Section 65962.5 for hazardous waste sites.
