Document Description
This project will install ten (10) shade ramadas and a new loading ramp at the Intermediate Motorcross Track area within Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area to provide shaded facilities for use by park visitors. Work will use heavy equipment and hand tools to complete the following work:
For the ramadas:
• Excavate forty (40), 10-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep holes and backfill with concrete for footings.
For the loading ramp:
• Excavate a 16-foot x 16-foot by 12-inch-wide x 12-inch-deep perimeter trench for stem walls;
• Build four (4), 16-foot-long x up to 3 feet tall x 4-inch-thick reinforced concrete stem walls; and
• Fill the interior of the walled area with compacted base rock and cap with 4-inch-thick reinforced concrete.
Additional work will include hydroseeding any bare areas around the track with native grass seed.
