Caltrans proposes geotechnical field exploration to support the design and construction of the proposed elements for the Drainage Rehab and Fish Passage Project on US Highway 101 between post miles (PM) 0.0 and 46.5 in Del Norte County. This project would rehabilitate existing drainage systems while also improving fish passage on Mello Creek and Delilah Creek. This geotechnical investigation would provide the subsurface data necessary for the preparation of geotechnical recommendations, collected via mud-rotary drilling at 12 boring holes within the existing paved roadway.
