Document Description
Caltrans proposes to install perimeter security fencing and enclosure fencing around electrical service cabinets and TOS pedestals on I-580 at PM 1.29 and SR-242 at PM 2.78 in Contra Costa County. The installation of the fencing will help to prevent break-ins of the cabinets. Some work will take place outside Caltrans right of way and off the paved roadway. Clearing and grubbing of vegetation around the cabinets may be required to accommodate the fencing. Construction is proposed to begin on June 30, 2025.
