Document Description
Install two (2) Single Port Pedestal Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at the Maintenance Shop at Ed Z'Berg Sugar Pine Point State Park to meet the Department of General Services Office of Fleet and Asset Management’s requirement for departments to provide sufficient electric vehicle charging infrastructure for their fleet vehicles. Heavy equipment and hand tools will be used for the following work: • Replace wire and circuits in the existing 250-amp breaker panel and main meter; • From the existing breaker panel inside the Maintenance Shop, install approx. 150-ft of 3-in. conduit through the northern wall, along the exterior of the Shop building to stub up at the existing electric meter; • On the southeastern side of the Shop building: o Compact soil under and 6-in. beyond the base for each pedestal; o Excavate one (1) approx. 24-in. long x 24-in. wide x 12-in. deep hole per pedestal; o Excavate two (2) approx. 12-in. long x 12-in. wide x 24-in. deep holes and install two (2) bollards to protect the charging pedestals; o Install two (2) new 70A single Charging Pedestals; o Install parking signs in accordance with DPR sign book standards; and • Return all disturbed surfaces to preexisting conditions with existing material or approved overlay.
