Document Description
Conduct routine maintenance activities within roadways. drainage facilities. buildings. and other County owned facilities. Activities may include debris removal, repair, replacement, or other minor upgrade activities that improve flood conveyance, safety on roadways, and other facility functions. Work may include maintenance to culverts, roads, road shoulders, buildings, bridges, and vegetation on County property or within County Right of Way using hand tools or heavy equipment operated from the roadway or road shoulder. Work will not result in significant impacts to jurisdictional areas. During review of the project, no exceptions as described in Section 15300.2 of the CEOA Guidelines were determined to be applicable.

The project consists of the operation. repair or maintenance of existing public structures and facilities involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. Examples include interior or exterior alterations involving such things as (a) interior partitions, plumbing, and electrical; (b) existing facilities of both investor and publicly owned utilities used to provide public utility services; (c) existing highways and streets, gutters and similar facilities; (d) restoration or rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged structures and facilities to meet current standards of public health and safety; and (h) maintenance of existing landscaping native growth and water supply reservoirs.
