Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) issued a Director’s Order to repair accelerated pavement damage in Sacramento County along State Route (SR) 51 from PM 1.2/5.0. The locations of the accelerated pavement damage are from PM 1.4/2.0 and PM 3.5/4.7 on lane 1 of the southbound (SB) direction, as well as minor damage on lane 2 and lane 3. The cause of pavement damage was from the severe storms that occurred from January 2024-March 2024 which caused delamination of the asphalt concrete (AC) pavement. The scope of work includes mobilization, coldplaning and placing 0.1 RHMA-O on lanes 1-3 of the SB direction from PM 1.4/2.0 and PM 3.5/4.7, traffic control, and incidental work.
