Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-50878-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Rick Thorn. The project is limited to the annual extraction of up to 15,000 cubic yards of gravel from Scotts Creek channel using a paddle wheel scraper to skim deposited material from the prior year’s winter flows. Annual volumes will vary but at least 1-foot of material above the thalweg will be left in the creek each year. Removed gravel will be stockpiled approximately 400 feet from Scotts Creek using already established roads.
