Document Description
To improve information available to State Park Peace Officers, automated license plate readers will be installed in Ocotillo Wells SVRA adjacent to three major entrances: Main Street, Poleline Road, and 4x4 Obstacle Road. Cameras will be installed using one of three available methods: (1) installed onto existing infrastructure; (2) a new 12' tall post will be mounted to an existing concrete or other type of base; or (3) a 12' tall pole mounted into an augured hole (Approximately 1' diameter by 2' deep). Placement will be determined on-site within 100' of proposed locations. District standard project requirements have been incorporated into the project.
