Document Description
The purpose of this project is to repair deteriorated roofing on the Brannan Island Maintenance Shop and park residence in Brannan Island State Recreation Area to fix water leaks and prevent further weather damage to the buildings. Work will be completed by a licensed contractor. The work will be completed in two parts with the wood-shingled park residence roof replaced first, followed by replacement of the metal roof of the Maintenance Shop. For both roofs, all existing layers of roofing, trims, and flashings will be removed, and any missing or deteriorated sheathing, wood fascia, and/or trims will be repaired or replaced with in-kind materials matching the look and structure of the buildings. Fascia and trims will be painted to match existing and existing gutters will be removed and replaced with new, in-kind ones.
