Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install approximately 12,500 linear feet of new or replacement perimeter fencing and install seven (7) gates at Brannan Island State Recreation Area to provide better security for the park. Work will: Remove the existing perimeter fence and gates and haul them off and dispose of at an appropriate offsite facility; Remove vegetation, as necessary, to prepare the areas where both the replacement and new fencing will be installed; Excavate approximately 1,250, 36-inch-deep holes, at 10-ft centers along the 12,500 linear foot fence line; Install posts into these holes and backfill with excavated soils or concrete to secure; and Spread excess excavated material will be disposed of offsite.
