Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SCR-50405-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Tim Liebenthal.
In 2022 and 2023, heavy storms caused a landslide on the banks of the San Lorenzo River, immediately behind a single-family home. A 58-foot (ft) long section of a gabion basket wall failed during this period. The purpose of the Project is to stabilize the bank adjacent to the river to protect the property from further erosion. The Project is limited to removing the failed retaining wall and implementing vegetated rock slope protection (RSP) to stabilize the bank.
