Document Description
This project proposes to install a new electrical line in the Day Use area of Richardson Grove State Park to provide power for an existing bathroom and the campfire center. Work will: •Use hand tools to excavate a 2-ft. deep 370-ft long trench; •Place two (2) metal conduit in the trench connected every 100 feet with plastic boxes and properly grounded; •Pull one (1) 3-in. electrical line and one (1) 2-in. fiber optic line through the conduit and cover with excavated soils; •Collect woody material and redwood duff from within the Visitor Center parking lot and place over the back filled trench to protect the new lines; •Where the electrical and fiber optic lines cross the Exhibit/Nature Trail, excavate approx. 6-in. deep through the compacted road-base, install a 2-in. metal conduit and cover with compacted road base to meet ADA specifications and trail standards; •Install a new 200 Amp 220/120-volt breaker panel near an existing PG&E pole; •Pour a 4-ft x 4-ft x 10-in. concrete slab and attach the pedestal for the new meter; •Construct a 4-ft x 5-ft x 8-in. concrete block wall on top of the concrete slab and 4'x5'x8"; •Cover the block wall with a thin layer of mortar and stain brown to blend with the area; and •Remove the existing meters on the building and connect the new meter for service.
