Document Description
Caltrans proposes a District Director’s Order (DDO) to fill a sinkhole, and restore a failed roadway including drainage and dike that was damaged when erosion created the sinkhole requiring closing the outside lane of the SR 78 eastbound (EB) offramp to Jefferson Street in Oceanside, CA. Restoration will include a hydroseed application of native plant species. Caltrans will reopen the outside lane of the EB offramp to Jefferson Street for public use ensuring efficient flow of traffic within the Oceanside community for residents, businesses, and the transport of goods. All work will occur within State right-of-way.
