Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair six (6) culverts via CIPP (Cured-in-Place Pipe) Lining at various locations from 0.04 miles west of Morena Boulevard to 0.3 Miles west of Mission Gorge Road along Interstate 8 (I-8). There will be no change of right-of-way (R/W), and no temporary or permanent easements. No grading, vegetation removal, or soil disturbance is anticipated. Temporary impact areas will be limited to the culvert end treatments. Work adjacent to the culvert end treatments will be limited to workers on foot with hand tools only. Access will be obtained via travelled way. Minor debris removal may be required to expose end treatment. There will be no staging areas, and work will be completed in a single shift with no staged equipment to be left onsite. No construction equipment will be utilized on CIPP projects. A vactor truck will be used to clean the culverts, and a service truck for unrolling liner. All work will occur within Caltrans right-of-way.
