Document Description
San Joaquin Field Division (SJFD) plans to replace the Las Perillas Pumping Plant (LPPP) ground water seepage pump discharge line. The existing line was damaged and will be abandoned in place. SJFD staff would use an excavator and hand tools to trench underneath the pavement. A 4-inch dimeter pipe would be installed and buried. The pipe would connect to the ground water seepage pump and emerge out of the concrete v-ditch. From there, the pipe would transition to above ground. Anchors would be installed to support the pipe. A trench would be dug at road crossings to bury the pipe and protect the pipe from road traffic. All equipment and materials will be staged on the road and plant parking areas. This job is expected to last up to three months. All work will be completed within the DWR right-of-way. This job is necessary to maintain the plant.
