Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number LAK-56257-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Martijn Blumenthal. The project is limited to the installation of a new 4-feet wide by 68-feet long pier with 16-feet long sitting area. A new 3-feet wide by 24-feet long gangway and a 21-feet wide by 30-feet long boatlift with roof. Project requires the installation of (17) steel pilings ((11) 8-inch pilings and (6) 10-inch pilings) using a free fall hammer method to drive pilings directly into lakebed. No digging, constant vibration or drilling will be used. Construction equipment will include trucks, pontoons and trailers, a steel Barge with drop hammer, welder Generator, and transport trailer. Water trucks, service trucks, and other typical construction vehicles will be present. All construction activities will be performed in the lake with the use of pontoon boats and barge. 9080 Soda Bay Road will be used for launching and staging materials on the barge. No vegetation is present in the impacted areas. No trees or other vegetation will be removed as a part of project activities.
