Document Description
The City of Redding (City) proposes repairs to filters 5 through 8; the work will include removal and replacement of the existing filter porous plate/underdrain systems with new AWI underdrain and air scour systems. Other related and necessary work includes grouting and concrete work to prepare the existing concrete basins for the new underdrain systems, temporarily removing and reusing existing filter media, and importing filter media to meet specified thicknesses. All work will be done inside the existing concrete filter boxes.
